Welcome to Legitimacy Examiner—a platform dedicated to exposing scams, uncovering fraud, and protecting online users.
Who Am I?
I’m Muhammad Faiq Hannan, an IT professional and cybersecurity researcher on a mission to make the internet a safer place.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in 2022 from Islamia University of Bahawalpur, I stepped into the IT industry, where I witnessed firsthand how countless scammy platforms, websites, and apps are deceiving people—stealing their money, data, and trust.
Determined to put an end to these scams, I enrolled in an MS in Cyber Security at Virtual University of Pakistan to gain expertise in cybersecurity, fraud detection, and ethical hacking.
During my studies, I discovered blogging as a powerful tool to expose online scams and educate people worldwide. This realization led me to take multiple online and physical courses on blogging, SEO, and content distribution to ensure that my message reaches the right audience.
With my background in IT and expertise in scam investigation, I am officially launching Legitimacy Examiner on 23 February 2025—a blog designed to help users identify scams before they fall victim to them.
Why I Started This Blog?
The Rising Threat of Online Scams
The internet is filled with deceptive websites and apps that promise easy money, fake investments, and fraudulent services. These scams exploit people’s trust, and millions fall for them every year.
From fake e-commerce stores to Ponzi crypto schemes and scammy earning apps, fraudsters are constantly coming up with new ways to trick users. The worst part? Many review websites promote these scams just to earn commissions through affiliate marketing.
I wanted to change that.
My Mission: Exposing Scams, Protecting You
I created Legitimacy Examiner with a single purpose—to help people avoid scams and make informed decisions online.
- ✔ 100% Unbiased Reviews: No paid promotions, no hidden agendas.
- ✔ In-Depth Scam Analysis: Every review is backed by research, user feedback, and technical investigations.
- ✔ No Affiliate Marketing: I don’t promote platforms for money. My priority is truth.
- ✔ Scam Alerts & Warnings: Timely updates on emerging fraud trends.
If a platform is legit, I’ll tell you.
If it’s a scam, I’ll expose it—plain and simple.
What I Cover on Legitimacy Examiner?
Currently, my blog investigates scam trends across six major categories:
1. Casino Platforms 🎰
Online gambling sites are often rigged or refuse to pay winnings. I analyze casino platforms to reveal whether they’re fair or fraudulent.
2. Crypto Platforms ₿
Scammers use fake crypto exchanges, Ponzi schemes, and pump-and-dump scams to rob investors. I break down how these scams operate and warn users before they lose money.
3. Services Websites 🛠️
From fake freelancing platforms to fraudulent online services, I investigate websites that promise value but deliver nothing.
4. E-Commerce Platforms 🛒
Have you ever ordered something online and never received it? I review e-commerce stores to identify scam sites that steal money without delivering products.
5. Earning Platforms 💰
Many apps and websites claim that users can earn money by watching ads, completing tasks, or investing small amounts. Most of them are scams—I uncover the truth.
6. Miscellaneous Scams ❌
Not all scams fit into one category. Whether it’s pyramid schemes, social media fraud, or phishing attacks, I investigate any suspicious platform reported by users.
How I Research & Verify Websites?
Step 1: Investigating the Platform
- Checking domain history, registration details, and security protocols
- Identifying hidden ownership information or red flags
Step 2: Analyzing User Feedback
- Gathering real reviews from forums, TrustPilot, Reddit, and other sources
- Spotting fake positive reviews and paid promotions
Step 3: Conducting Technical Analysis
- Examining website structure, terms & conditions, refund policies
- Analyzing withdrawal and payment proof from users
Step 4: Scam Indicators & Verdict
- Detecting common scam patterns used across fraudulent platforms
- Concluding whether the website is legit or a scam
Why I Will Never Do Affiliate Marketing?
Unlike other websites that profit from promoting scammy platforms, I have a strict NO AFFILIATE MARKETING policy.
Most so-called “review” sites get paid to write fake positive reviews. That’s exactly what scammers want—fake credibility to trap more victims.
At Legitimacy Examiner, my goal is transparency, not profit.
- I will never recommend a platform just to earn money.
- If a platform is a scam, I will expose it—no matter what.
My only mission is to help as many people as possible avoid online scams.
